Sarah Rossiter was born in New York and currently lives and works in Los Angeles. Solo shows of her work have been exhibited in New York, Los Angeles, and major cities in Europe. Rossiter's photography, sculpture and video work have also been featured in various group exhibitions throughout the U.S. and Europe.
In 1992, while at Cooper Union, she co-founded Art Club 2000, a collaboration between 7 art students in conjunction with New York art dealer Colin de Land of American Fine Arts, Co.
In 1997, Rossiter founded Velocity Gallery in Brooklyn, NY. Velocity Gallery was featured on the front page of the New York Times Arts Section with a review by Roberta Smith.
