Sarah Rossiter was born in 1970 in New York and currently lives and works in Los Angeles. Solo shows of her work have been exhibited in New York, Los Angeles, Switzerland, Italy and Spain. Rossiter's photography, sculpture and video work have also been featured in various group exhibitions throughout the United States and Europe.
In 1992, while at Cooper Union, she co-founded Art Club 2000, a collaboration between 7 art students and New York art dealer Colin de Land of American Fine Arts, Co.
From 1997 to 2000, Rossiter founded and directed Velocity Gallery in Brooklyn, NY. The gallery was featured on the front page of the New York Times Arts Section with a review by Roberta Smith.
